Who we are

Paws for a Cleaner Community started with something simple.

My wife and I walk our pups almost every day. On those walks, weโ€™d constantly say, โ€œWe should really do something about all this litter.โ€

For a while, it was just talk. Somewhere along the way, that talk turned into one of my favorite things โ€” coming up with an acronym for LARS: Litter Abatement and Recycle Service. Giving it a name made it feel real.

Eventually, we started bringing garbage bags and grabbers with us. What began as a small habit turned into a commitment to take better care of our neighborhood.

This is still just the beginning. Weโ€™re hoping it grows into something bigger โ€” something that encourages others to take pride in where we live and join in caring for our community, one walk at a time.
